A Suncode product
Distributed fiber sensing turns your wellbore into thousands of continuous listening points. LogFiber is where that signal becomes an interpretation: import, visualize, measure and monitor, all in a single native application that never touches the cloud.
A single optical fiber deployed along a well measures temperature (DTS) and acoustics (DAS) at thousands of depths at once, thousands of times a second. It sees flow, injection, gas migration, leaks and mechanical events that point sensors miss entirely. The signal is extraordinarily rich, and at gigabytes per acquisition, extraordinarily hard to handle. That gap is exactly what LogFiber closes.
Drop a TDMS, LAS or CSV in. LogFiber reads it directly from disk, with no conversion and no upload.
The waterfall renders instantly. Pan, zoom and re-map color to bring structure forward.
Run FBE, build a Delta Map against a baseline, and snip the regions worth reporting.
Watch a folder for new acquisitions and let the view update live as the well is recorded.
Silixa iDAS .tdms, standard .las
well logs and .csv traces load through native file dialogs, or by dragging
them onto the window. On the desktop build, large binaries are read straight from disk, so Silixa TDMS files above
500 MB import roughly twice as fast as the browser path because the intermediate copy is skipped entirely.

Depth runs one way, time the other, and acoustic or thermal energy is painted in color. Hardware-accelerated rasterization keeps pan and zoom fluid even at 4K, so you can follow a faint coherent streak from the top of the well to total depth without the picture stuttering. The trace view stacks individual channels as wiggles when you want to read a single depth closely.
Frequency Band Energy decomposes the acoustic field into bands and sums energy in each. Flow, gas breakout, sand production and valve noise occupy different parts of the spectrum, so a single crowded waterfall becomes several clean, interpretable views by depth.
Subtract a baseline acquisition from a later one and render the change on a diverging scale. Drift and new activity separate cleanly from the steady background, so what changed in the well is obvious at a glance.
Point LogFiber at an acquisition folder and it polls for new files, refreshing the waterfall as data lands. On the desktop build it uses the native folder picker and reads through the file system, with no repeated permission prompts, giving you a real-time window on a well that is still being recorded.
Frame any region of the waterfall and export a clean PNG through the native Save dialog, sized and
ready to drop into a report, a ticket or a morning operations call. Your project view, picks and settings persist
in a single portable .sda file.
LogFiber uses everything the desktop gives it.
A raised renderer heap opens 20 GB DAS acquisitions, and can be tuned higher for the very largest jobs.
System open, save and folder pickers, with multi-select and default locations, and no sandbox friction.
Double-clicking a file focuses the running window instead of spawning a second copy.
Taskbar and menu presence, jump lists, pinning and file-association handlers on both platforms.
Long imports and FBE batch runs keep full speed even when the window is in the background.
No Node, Python or runtime to install. The app is fully self-contained on both platforms.
Every processing step runs locally on your workstation. After launch, LogFiber makes zero network calls. It has no cloud services, no accounts and no telemetry, and it runs on air-gapped rig and field networks without a single change.
Access is licensed. Request a demo and we will provide the right build for your workstation with a guided first run.
We will open it in LogFiber with you and interpret it live.
